Need help with the writing monster? My professional approach to editing is simple: to help you to communicate what you want to say in as clear and a persuasive manner as possible. I have a PhD in English Literature from McGill University (2003) and six years experience working as a full-time editor. For three and half of those years, I worked with one of the largest technical documentation companies in North America. In addition, when I was  employed for six years as a graduate teaching assistant, I evaluated hundreds of university students' papers. I also worked for two years as a writing tutor at the University of New Brunswick Writing Lab. In addition to academic editing, I also have experience with more commercial/business writing projects.

As well as editing your manuscript, I will provide feedback on how you can strengthen your writing to make it more effective. If we decide to work together, you can depend on my skills and experience to help you to produce an error-free and sophisticated piece of writing.
