Need help with the writing monster? My professional approach to editing is simple: to help you to communicate what you want to say in as clear and a persuasive manner as possible.
I have a PhD in English Literature from McGill University and 19 years experience working as a full-time editor. For 4 of those years, I worked with one of the largest technical documentation companies in North America. In addition, when I was employed for 6 years as a graduate teaching assistant, I evaluated hundreds of university students' papers. I also worked for 2 years as a writing tutor at a university writing lab. In addition to academic editing, I also have experience with commercial and business writing projects.
